Sanctum of Shadows is a first person dungeon based action game. The player must use the power of light to fight against the darkness and the creatures that dwell within it.

Features and scope

The purpose of the project is to learn the fundamentals that make up a game engine, and then a full game, using C++. This includes engine and game code separation, entity and state management and efficient programming amongst other things

  • Rendering using Irrlichht
  • Bullet Physics Intergration

The project had a 3 month timescale and was finished on 4th of April 2014
